Hello!
My philosophy on wedding photography is pretty simple. I try to produce visually beautiful images, describing your relationship’s story, while being laid back and light hearted. After this many years in the game, I have become quite proficient at it. Even though sometimes I really enjoy my time off, there is nothing else I would prefer to be doing with my life than being a wedding photographer.
While I have been into photography since high school, I started to take wedding photography seriously in 2007. I devoted all of my energies to it and by 2008 I won first place in weddings for the international photography awards. That victory allowed me to take a step back and think about what I wanted from this journey. I came to a few conclusions. For one, I was not going to spend it chasing awards. I realised I got far more pleasure in pleasing my clients than I do pleasing other photographers. Secondly, my work had to be something I did for me first. As long as I promoted what made me happy, the people who found me and asked me to photograph their wedding would be asking me to do what I already love to do.
