Balingup is located south of Donnybrook in the Blackwood River Valley. Bordering the Karri Forests of further south, the region is somewhat unique in that it is a true mix of agriculture and forest spread over rolling hills.
The Golden Valley Homestead was built in the 1880’s and remains a private residence today. It is situated on the Golden Valley Tree Park.
