Well it may not be as flashy a foreshore development as Elizabeth Quay, or as profitable, but the redevelopment of the parklands (and parking) around the Narrows Bridge in South Perth definitely gets my approval. What was earlier just a scrappy car park that flooded every time it rained, surrounded by dry grass, has been turned into a new area that would be worth spending time in. Certainly walking around the area and enjoying the views (especially the majestic River Red Gums) was enjoyable, I imagine it will become a popular picnic location once people discover what has been done here.
