I have been photographing the Capital Square build out since it started. On this page I will be adding updates as the construction progresses. All images are in reverse chronological order
March 2017 update
January 2017 update
December 2016 update
November 2016 update
Brand new images show the glass reaching the top of the floor plates, while the beginning of construction of the crown is well under way.
October 2016 update
The core box covering the top of the central core has been removed, signalling completion of the core rises. It is interesting to see it still extending up over the top of the towers, since the tower will be finished with a rather large roof structure.
In this update the western crane was being removed by two mobile cranes and loaded piece by piece onto flat bed trucks. The work on the podium is surging ahead
As the height of the tower grew, it began to become a dominant part of the skyline, such as from Elizabeth Quay.
