Perth City Skyline

Description

Perth City. It’s a fascinating place. It’s certainly not the cultural center of our great town. Who knows when that may change. I find that the shape of our skyline is more a reminder of everything that it represents. The amazing Kings Park overlooking the city in the west. The Darling Scarp overlooking the region from the east. The wonderful western beeches. It is the brain of our local economy where the muscle is largely located out in the regions.

On the night of this photograph, I was travelling over the Narrows bridge when I took a glance over at the city. I always do. I noticed the absolute stillness of the water. My mind was instantly made, I was going to South Perth to get this photo. It was everything I could have asked for.
