I remember the first time I saw just how bright the stars look when away from the city lights. So brilliant amongst the darkness, the clouds of dust in the milky way illuminated by their light. So bright away from the people, earth silhouetted against the big bright.
I wanted to create an image of what night time might have looked like for early humans, living beneath the canopy of the Australian Bushland. The stars filled every void in the sky, with the finger like branches of the Peppermint and Tuart trees reaching up into them.
